Unico Portable Stand No. 50
For the Victor Victrola 50
This rare Unico Portable Stand No. 50 was made by the Unit Construction Company of Philadelphia, PA. The stand was made specifically for the Victor Victrola 50, which was in production from 1921 to 1925.

The stand is a bit over 28 inches tall and the VV-50 fits into a recessed area on the top. A shelf is provided for record storage. I assume these were also available in oak, as well as the mahogany finish shown. This particular phonograph (serial no. 26036) and stand have likely been together since they were new.
